Molson the dog
He's my friend
He hopes that when I'm gone
That I'll be back again

You know, I picked him up
When he was just a pup
I arrived to save his life
And he sure did let me know

Please take me with you when you go
You know that I don't like it here
And you know I miss you so

Please, don't make me say goodbye
Every time you leave here
You know, it makes me want to cry

Molson's a dog
But he still likes TV
He jumps up on the couch
And sits right next to me

A football score or opera moan
Will make him sing
And once that note gets in his throat
You know that dog could sing

Please let me stay and see the show
My tail won't clear the table
And my teeth won't bite your shoe

Please, don't make me go outside
Cos If can't be here
Its gonna make me wanna cry

Who will sing when Molson's gone
Who will sing Molson's song
